The coronavirus pandemic resulted in a drastic fall in the Parish’s income. Most of the shortfall arose because we could not take collections at services, hold fundraising events or rent out our Church Room. Although we have now resumed most services, we remain low on funds.
We have taken all possible steps to eliminate or reduce all but the most essential expenditure but there remain unavoidable expenses such as maintenance, utilities and insurance.
We appeal to all who value our parish buildings and architecture, whether our beautiful Ditcheat medieval church or our quirky Alhampton Tin Tabernacle! And, of course, our churchyard: the beautiful green space at the heart of the Ditcheat community maintained at our own expense but enjoyed on a daily basis by many.
